Motomate integration
Motomate combines the advantageous features of a programmable controller with the power and reliability of a long-life brushless motor. Available in different reduction ratios, this product offers a solution characterized by a lower number of components, with less space for and significant shorter times of installation.
Usually motion control is made by combining different individual components, such as electric motors, PLCs, limit switches, timers, etc. All these products can be replaced by a single Crouzet Motomate
unit.
Motomate components
The Logic Controller is a real PLC and comes with 4 inputs and 4 outputs, with pre-programmed functions and digital and analogue inputs. Control is performed on a DC autopiloted and high-torque brushless motor, the average life of which is about three times longer than a conventional DC motor.
Motomate integrates a small variable speed drive in the control electronics and comes with a two-channel encoder that provides non-stop information on the motor position. The EMC filter neutralizes electronic
interference.
Motomate advantages
The integration of Motomate by replacing different components with a single units makes it possible to reduce the costs at design, assembly and installation stages and makes debugging easy and quick.
Maintenance costs are reduced thanks to integration and the brushless motor life, and the overall dimensions of your equipment are four times smaller. Industrially optimised control and motorization functions are guaranteed by
Crouzet.
Motomate applications
The system has made great strides in the development of access control applications (automatic doors, in general) and the motion in advertising boards, with special self-learning functions and torque/current control. It is also used in packaging machines and in automatic systems in general, where precise positioning and motion control are a requirement.
